I actually thought I wrote about this place earlier but somehow, I can’t seem to find that post in my blog. It’s a good thing that I have lots of photos this time. I love going for makan with lots of people coz that would mean I’ll get lots of photos for my blog!! Most photos are courtesy of my collegue, Jonathan and some photos were taken from my previous visits there. With so many photos, this is perhaps my most detailed review of a place to eat!!!
We all had the set meals. One set meal costs RM19.90 (subject to 10% service charge and 5% government tax). Each set meal comes with a choice of drinks, soup, main course and dessert.
Menu – I like their menu. Very simple. I actually do not like hugh menus with lots of pages. Makes everything looks complicated.
Bread & Butter
“Our Signature” Mushroom Soup – this is perhaps the best mushroom soup I’ve had. I loved it!!
Organic Gren Pea Soup – puree of green pea soup garnished with green pea and bread croutons
Baked French Onion Soup – thick onion soup with crouton and melted cheese
Thick Oxtail Soup – garnished with assorted vegetable and cubes of oxtail meat (er .. no assorted vegetable coz my friend ate them all before I remembered to snap a photo of the soup)
Green Tea
Chicken Chop & Mushroom – lightly battered and deep-fried, served with a mushroom cream sauce
Chicken Chop & Pineapple – smothered with home cooked tangy chili and sweet pineapple sauce
Chicken Chop & Black Pepper – deep-fried and served with delicious black pepper sauce
Chicken Maryland Mizi Style – crimbed and deep-fried with tempura vegetables and banana, served with seasoned potato wedges
Seafood A La King – a combination of fish, prawns, mussels, squid, sliced mushroom and bell pepper, cooked in light curry sauce
Filled of Fish “Grenobloise” – lightly egg battered, panfried with lemon and capers butter sauce with chef’s choice of vegetables
Fish Fillet “Monte Carlo” – pan-fried topped with onion, tomato, mushroom and herbed butter
Fillet of Fish “Almondine” – pan-fried topped with roasted almond flakes and butter sauce
Chicken Piccatta – chicken breast dipped in egg and cheese and fried to perfection, accompanied with pasta and scented with rosemary juice
Fish Cordon Bleu – filled with chicken ham and cheese crimbed then deep-fried golden with garlic butter
Fillet of Fish “Lady Astor” – pan-fried topped with pineapple and glazed with horseradish cream sauce
Steam Fish “My Dream” – filled with sauteed spinach and prepared in a cream sauce laced with lobster butter
Spaghetti Bolognese – with chicken meat sauce
Lasagne Al Forno – baked pasta layered between bechamed, chicken meat sauce and parmesan cheese
Dessert of the day – free flow ice cream
Chocolate and strawberry sauce for the ice cream
Chocolate and multi-colored rice for the ice cream
Coffe – a must have after a good meal
Duckie’s Review :
Food : I like the food here. I came here so many many times, I’ve lost count and I really don’t know why I cannot find my post on this place.
Price : RM19.90 per set is very reasonable, considering that the main dish already costs about RM13 – RM14. Nice interior and ambience too!!
